A Sketchy Challege from PCC!
I just love Paper Crafters Corner blog. They have so much information on scrappy goodness all over the south. And they issued a challenge using a sketch from Allison Davis's sketchbook. Now this was right up my alley, I LOVE using sketches so I had to give this one a whirl. Below I have posted the original sketch and then my take on the sketch. Let me know what you think!
Thanks for stopping by!

Hello from here and there!
Ok, so I really haven't gotten this blogging thing down and for that I do apologize. I have been pretty busy lately trying to get some of my daughters albums finished and it has been a challenge. I have found that I LOVE using sketches and can crank out layouts alot faster. First I choose the pictures I want to scrap, then I go to my big ole book of sketches that I have complied from numerouse blogs and websites. Then I take the photos and sketche and select my papers and embellishments to create a page kit. I try to do 10 or more page kits in one sitting, then I will start putting them all together into pages. When I have these so called page kits done, it also makes packing up for a crop so much easier. I have finished about 20 layouts in the last couple of months.
I am currently working on an album for a friend of mine to give to someone special as a Mother's Day gift. I can't post any pictures of it right now though, I don't want to give away the surprise. But I am having fun with it.
I have been checking out lots and lots of blogs lately too, while neglecting mine. But I must say that I am loving Pinky Helmar at Much ADo About Nothing She is a very cool lady and I love to read her post. She has some great giveaways and experiments with some cool products. Check her out here and be sure to enter for a chance to win some great goodies. Right now she has up for grabs a set of 10 Cri-Kits Pens They look like they would be VERY VERY FUN!!!
Another one of my new favs is SRM Stickers They have great sheets of stickers that would work for so many different projects. Great for cards and layouts. Love them! They have lots of challenges and giveaways also. The design team also puts together some pretty awesome projects. Be sure to check them out here as well.
I promise I will try to do better and get more post and projects up! Gotta go for now!

Back in the Groove
I finally got the scrappin bug! I have jumped back into my scrapbooking. I have a goal to have 50 layouts done by July. So far I have 14, yay!!! I have all intentions of using up all those papers I have been collecting for 7 years now....LOL I will be posting some of my favorite layouts for all to see.
The layout above (sorry about the bad picture, I have yet to figure out how to take a good one) is of my daughter at the Cabbage Patch Kid Babyland. These are of her exploring the Elementary School. I LOVE this background paper, but couldn't tell you where or when I got it. The solid cardstock is DCWV. I used my Cricut and SCAL to cut out the school emblem paper piecing.
Thanks so much for looking!
